Throwback Thursday Scrapbook Layout Inspiration: Creative Shaker Layout Techniques for Scrapbooking

Welcome back crafty friends to another fun Scrapbook Layout share. Today I am returning to my Throwback Thursday Stories. I want to bring a project from the past that I think can re-inspire my creativity. Hopefully, it will inspire you as well!

I am sharing the process and details of how I created this fun and whimsical layout. I created this in January of 2021, time sure flies! I served as a Guest Designer at A Cherry On Top, and had the pleasure to play with pretty supplies.

Additionally, to getting fun supplies I shared four projects on their blog. One of them being this fun 8 1/2 x 11 layout with a shaker image that I am sharing with you today.

I love how I used my creativity to the max with this layout!

I worked outside to box to create a super fun and whimsical layout that included a shaker element. It was also in theme with my image with dimension, color, and sequins that create joy!

I hope that you are feeling inspired to get crafty, with today’s project share. I have loved revisiting this project and am feeling inspired to use more unexpected supplies in my layouts.

I am also feeling inspired to find a scallop design patterned paper to fussy cut and recreate the background, somehow. Stay tuned and you will catch me recreating this whole layout.
