Hello beautiful crafty people! I am checking in for a mid year goal check-in and a sort of reset for my goals. I have loved the idea of creating a vision board for myself for the past two years. Therefore, I created one again this year inside of my Happy Planner.
I wanted to come in and share my process for creating a vision for my year.
STEP 1: CHOOSE A WORD AS A CATAPULT
I started off by choosing a one little word, and this year my word is: CREATE. This word encompasses many aspects of my life:

I want to create SOO many things!!
This includes a healthy life, a safe home, and a lot more scrapbooking pages. I aim to build a community around my creative endeavors. I desire a stronger bond with my children. I want to create a new life as I continue my journey post-divorce. I also wish to create my dream life… and I can go on.
Additionally, I have goals for my professional life. I am working full time in a role for a non-profit I feel aligns with my values and morals. I truly feel called to continue to grow into this role. My vision for 2025 is to show up as the professional I wish to become.
Below is the vision board I created with my work team in January and it’s specific to the professional goals…

STEP 2: IDENTIFY YOUR VISION WITH INSPIRATION
Once I had thought out my vision, I went through Pinterest. I downloaded to my phone all the images, quotes, and photographs that inspired my word create. These helped me truly envision the life I wanted to create for myself this year.
Use the images, quotes, phrases, and visuals. They should best support YOUR personal vision. This is the vision you wish to see come to real life.
I chose my images. Then, I printed my photos and set them out on my desk. I wanted to embrace and admire them before putting them on paper. Here’s an example:

Step 3: CREATE YOUR VISION BOARD
The next step is to create the actual vision board in a location that works best for you. I decided to use my 2025 Big Happy Planner that I use for memory planning. I used the month at a glance pages at the beginning of the album. This allowed me to add a two-page spread vision board….

The purpose of a vision board is to inspire you in your goals and wants. It serves as a way to manifest what you wish into reality.
Yes it really is that powerful!!
I like to revisit my goals and vision mid year. Now that we are in full swing into July, I find that this board continues to inspire me.
I have recorded a process video to how this vision board come to life, and I would love to invite all of you to watch it below:
I have enjoyed sharing this process with you. I hope that you feel inspired to create your vision board. It is never too late!!
