I recently got another BRILLIANT idea. I thought it will be fun if I take time each month to share the highlights for that month. I am getting this inspiration from Paige Evans whom I admire tremendously. Most of us scrappy creatives know her. I call her the Taylor Swift of scrapbooking. IYKYK. I told her that in person when I met her in 2023, what an honor!
I was recently perusing her blog to find inspiration, as she’s always the one who brings me ideas to run with when I’m feeling stuck. I ran across an awesome post of the highlights and special moments during her month. It totally inspired me to do the same, and hopefully my readers enjoy the idea too!
So welcome to my very first ever June 2025 Highlights post. This month was very busy and long as it encompassed so many fun endings and beginnings. The month of June began with the anticipation of the end of the school year. Then we jumped into a new summer routines, and this mom has a busy end of fiscal year at work that required lots of focus and dedication.
I still managed to document lot’s of great moments which I hope you enjoy…
My daughter Maci finished kindergarten. We enjoyed her performance at school. We treated her with all the goodies, including a PINK cap and gown!
This day was full of nonstop fun. After we celebrated Maci, we picked up my son from his last day of school. David was so excited to finish 4th grade! He’s officially moving up into the upper class at his elementary school.

This day was full of celebrations, and after lunch we also got to visit Elie’s school performance. She dressed up for an ABC’s Fashion show. She was P for Princess!

A perfect title for our little sassy princess of the family! I also adore this photo of the four of us, and just how happy we look. I will definitely be scrapping this one very soon!
My parents have been living their best life and I love the photos that my mom sends me each time I check in on them. The views are always amazing.
I always feel so proud of their hard work. They’re now retired and living their dream. I miss them so much. They will be coming to town next month. I’m basically counting down the days.
Here’s a snippet of the Mexican Rancho life… with my mother’s main character, my father, in most photos.
I can’t wait to take a trip with the kiddos next year! It’s already in the books!
I was struggling to stay positive this month about my mental health and healing. As a result, I didn’t take too many selfies. But I managed to finish all of my monthly tasks, to do’s, and duties. I also completed my crafty goals with some self-care sprinkled in there!
Additionally, I was engaging with my socials across the board. I even recorded a podcast with Hannah from A Crafty Maven Getaway, how awesome is that??? I call that a win! I’ll keep you all posted on when the podcast goes live.

I treated myself to some scrappy goodies. I ordered the brand new Paige Evans kit from her website. It was such a joy to get my happy mail. A photo was (obviously) due. The kit is INCREDIBLE and probably one of my very favorites.

I am working on an unboxing video, and I’m almost done editing. Stay tuned for a post where I share the link to the YouTube video!
I have been focusing on self care. This includes getting outside. I can fall trap to staying inside for days if I don’t have to go out. I take trips to the ocean when my kids are with their dad. By pure coincidence, this month I found a sweet little escape near my house. There, I can watch airplanes take off.

I captured some really awesome sunset photos. I planned to come back with the kiddos. I thought it would be a great place to bring them so they see something exciting. They watch big and little planes fly off into the distant skies.
I was playing around on Tik Tok. I stumbled upon a post for Chat GPT. It would create an image of you based on the conversations you’ve had with the bot. I decided to give it a try and here is what came of my selfie image and the AI’s creation…

This was based on this selfie of myself and all the crafty questions i’ve asked my ai bot. I don’t know if I want to laugh in awe or be scared. But I think it knows me! ha!
I got ONE amazing shot of florals and it was some beautiful flowers at Elie’s day care. They were so beautiful and tall, I went out of my way to admire their beauty.
I found out that these are called Hollyhock. A name I have never heard of, but fun to learn!

Finally, on the last Friday of the month, my Maci earned an award. She was recognized as Camper Of the Week for week 3 at her summer camp program.

She was so happy and I was so proud of her! I think big brother was also very proud of her! I love her scruffy haired face here. It’s proof that she is enjoying her time. She is having a blast!
I think to finish off this post I also want to share my favorite meme’s. I thought it would be fun to add a touch of humor. Because we all know some inappropriateness keeps me, you, us smiling as we doom scroll on lazy days.

That’s it for June.
It was truly a busy month that kept me stressed, not gonna lie. I’m glad we are now into the swing of the summer schedule. We get to have a fun July now, and we’ll see what memories we make.
See you next month for another monthly recap for the month of July.
Please leave me a comment if you’ve enjoyed this share. It was super fun to put together. It’s made me realize that I want to record and document more of my daily life. I want to keep recording my favorite memories, to love on, to share, and to document, what about YOU?
Thank you for being here and stay crafty, friends!!
