Welcome back scrappy friends!

It’s been a few weeks since all the scrappies of the world celebrated International Scrapbook Day with challenges and giveaways and lots of scrapbooking. I participated as much as I could, considering I had my baby girl all day.

Luckily my hubs took my 4 year old out on a daddy ‘n son date and I had some fun while they were gone.

Also, I didn’t end up doing a live broadcast because my baby girl was up most of the time we were alone. Bummer, I know!

To create the actual album I used two 12×12 white card stock pieces. I folded it a couple of times and stuck it so that it would fold and flip like a book.

PSA: I really didn’t pay attention how I folded the book. It took me a couple of minutes, some scissor cutting, and a number of folds to get it just right. If you you’ll like to know exactly how I made it, please leave me a comment and I promise to come back with the full instructions!

I then added some pretty patterned paper as my cover. The whole book was connected to the cover using some yarn string. Then I added two Amy Tangerine tassel and ribbon to finish it off.

As far as the embellishing, I went crazy happy using up all my supplies. No rhyme or reason, just plain scrappy fun.

Alright, I think I’ve shared all I need to share when it comes to details. Her come the closeups. I hope you enjoy!
